Destination-Immersive Cruise Line to Sail Inaugural Australia Season in 2016
London, May 20, 2014 – Azamara Club Cruises today announced the cruise line’s annual voyages programme for 2016. Azamara’s twin boutique ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, will take travellers on new adventures with 44 new maiden calls in Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Europe and the West Indies.
Delivering more authentic experiences with longer stays and more overnights in ports for night touring, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest remain in port when most other ships have departed for the day. The ships will stay past 8pm during more than 175 port visits and overnight on more than 100 port visits. Azamara will take guests to some of the world's most intriguing destinations in Australia and New Zealand, the Far East and Southeast Asia, the Arabian Gulf, and the West Indies, with a total of 204 ports of call in 70 countries.

Destination Immersion Down Under
For its inaugural Australia season, Azamara Quest will sail five voyages which will explore the culture and nightlife of Australia and New Zealand. The ship will head to the Land Down Under starting with a Christmas and New Year’s voyage, from Bali, Indonesia, to Cairns, Australia, followed by four voyages in 2016 that visit coastal cities along the Coral Sea and in New Zealand and Tasmania.
AzAmazing Asia Adventures
Azamara Quest will then sail three voyages throughout the Far East that visit intriguing destinations throughout Japan, China and Southeast Asia. The ship will then sail into the Mediterranean for a fascinating voyage spanning the Far East, the Arabian Gulf and Aegean Sea, before arriving in Athens.
Azamara Journey’s exclusive Arabian Nights round-trip Dubai voyage in late 2016 will explore some of the most exciting new cities in the region, featuring overnight stays in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. Highlights include visits to the new Guggenheim, Louvre and Zayed National Museums in Abu Dhabi, as well as dining at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat.
Authentic Europe with Azamara
Covering the entire continent from the Baltic to the North seas and the Mediterranean to the Black Sea, Azamara’s smaller ships offer access that larger vessels cannot and place guests at the heart of such jewel-destinations such as Nice and Sanary-sur-Mer, France; Portovenere (Cinque Terre) and Amalfi, Italy; and Chania, Crete and Patmos, Greece, amongst others.

Azamara Quest will also sail West Indies voyages from Miami in November, and celebrate New Year in Virgin Gorda, B.V.I.
